How to share events

Three ways to
get it on air.

From a phone in the stands to a produced broadcast with our crew on site. Pick the one that fits the event - you can move up any time.

The MOMMENT live co-watch experience on a phone

Option 1

Your phone.

Open the app, hit record, and your circle is notified the second you’re live. Best advice we can give: hand the phone to someone else - another parent, a grandparent, a club volunteer - so you can actually watch your child instead of watching a screen.

Works well

  • Free - nothing to buy or rent
  • Live in seconds, any event, any day
  • Adaptive quality survives bad venue wifi
  • Anyone can be handed the phone
  • Earns your organization revenue share

Trade-offs

  • One camera, one angle
  • Someone has to hold it steady for the duration
  • Battery and data are on that phone
  • No interviews, replays, or commentary

Option 2

Your own equipment.

If your club runs events all season, owning the gear pays for itself. Buy cameras and an encoder that integrate with MOMMENT, and your own volunteers run multi-angle coverage from the same console we use.

We guide you through it - what to buy for your venue and budget, how to set it up, and how to run it. We won’t run it for you, but you won’t be figuring it out alone. Then it’s yours, every event, forever.

Works well

  • Multiple angles and proper camera quality
  • Repeatable - set up once, use all season
  • Your crew, your schedule, no booking us
  • Earns your organization revenue share

Trade-offs

  • Upfront equipment cost
  • A real learning curve - we’ll guide you, but you do run it
  • Needs volunteers on the day
  • Someone has to own and store the equipment

Option 3

We bring the crew and produce it.

Let us know beforehand and we arrive with the cameras, the crew, and the app. Not a webcam on a tripod - a produced broadcast, in three tiers. It earns like the other two - the difference is the production, not the payment.

A produced event usually needs around 300 competitors per day to be worth bringing a crew out. Smaller than that? Options 1 and 2 earn you exactly the same per-athlete share.

The three tiers.

Tier 1

Pop-Up & Share

We arrive, set up, and film your competition. Every round, live, shareable with every family.

Best for

  • Regular-season and mid-size events
  • Zero burden on your volunteers
  • Fastest to book

Trade-offs

  • Straight coverage - no ceremonies
  • No interviews or highlight packages
Tier 2

Full Event Coverage

Everything in Pop-Up, plus opening and kickoff ceremonies, awards, and medal presentations.

Best for

  • Championships and finals
  • The podium moment, broadcast in full
  • Families see the whole day, start to finish

Trade-offs

  • Needs a firmer run-sheet from you
  • Longer crew day
Tier 3

The Broadcast Experience

Competitor interviews, highlight packages stitched from earlier days, and in-event broadcasting - a live-TV experience produced on site.

Best for

  • Multi-day championships
  • Athlete interviews and award presentations
  • Highest turnout and highest fundraising

Trade-offs

  • Most advance notice required
  • Only worth it at scale

Not sure which?

Tell us the event. We’ll tell you honestly.

If a phone will do the job, we’ll say so - we’d rather you stream it well than buy something you don’t need.
